A child's dreams are as magical as the twinkling stars in the night sky. I’m so grateful that as a mural artist I’m able to transform these dreams into something real, something that will be a part of a child’s life for so many years as reality and so many more as a memory.
My name is Melissa Sheldrake, and I have been a part of the art world to some degree for many years. I studied and worked with the esteemed tile mural artist Elizabeth MacDonald for ten years from 1994-2004, and studied at Western Connecticut State University as an Undergraduate in Painting and Illustration from 1996-2001 and as a Graduate student in Painting 2003-2004.
